Mortgage Money IS Available…For Now
No you can no longer get a loan if you have no income
No you can no longer get a loan if you have no credit
No you can no longer get a loan if you have no assets
However, despite what you may be hearing from most "media" there is no real problem for any one who should get a loan being able to get a loan. Yes lenders are checking more for dotted i's and crossed t's. This can make the loan process a little more painful but the loans are still getting made.
AND AT HISTORICALLY LOW INTEREST RATES.
The following link has more on this.

Congratulations Pennsylvania Representatives
Even though their leader went down hard in the elections and their number 2 retired, it was amazing to see that the state house of representatives could bring themselves to actually go to work for one day between election day and the swearing in of the next legislature.
Hopefully they will deal with sprinklers and pensions.
Of course they can't deal with anything that will take longer than one day procedurally.
So glad we pay for a full time legislature

How to help kill a real estate recovery
President Obama's budget cuts the mortgage interest deduction.
Guess what that does to the value of the home.
Guess what that does to the banks and others (including retirees) who hold the mortgages on these homes.
